Coach Bill Walsh, the legendary coach of of the 49ers, broke bread with his friend of many years the renowned coach of the Raiders and now the Rams, Coach Mike White.
These men were together at Stanford in years past and neither is content to sit back in the clover. Both of these gentlemen continue to inspire players, fans and fellow coaches with their awsome powers.
Dave Winer said of Mr. Walsh that he has always made note of the good qualities of the teams he has played against. This is just the way he is. Of course isn't it sweeter when you trounce those who's abilities you respect.
In the 20th century when they define greatness you will see names like Dimaggio, Ali and Walsh.
